NUDIENT’s Guide to Copenhagen

Copenhagen, Denmark is often seen as a hotspot for fashion, design and architecture. As the city is soon to be in bloom, more of us are tempted to visit the city. With the big trend of biking in Copenhagen, many of the must-see places are easily accessible. But where are you supposed to go when visiting for a few days? NUDIENT has given our Copenhagen local the mission to guide you through the city.

Starting off with breakfast or brunch. Make sure to try the staple sourdough bread with cheese and whipped butter, maybe even some homemade jam. All around Copenhagen there are bakeries and cafés to line up in front of to get your hands on a freshly baked start of the day. Some of our favorite places include Andersen & Maillard, Juno the Bakery and Studio x Kitchen.

Copenhagen has a thriving thriftshopping scene, with a wide range of vintage and second hand-shops to explore as well as local flea markets. From trendy vintage in Nørrebro to larger thrift shops in Copenhagen city center, there is something for everyone. A few of our top spots are Chamoi Vintage, OSV Second Hand and Episode.

Time for lunch or dinner? Copenhagen is known for its vibrant food scene, with a range of restaurants serving up delicious and innovative cuisine. Many restaurants focus on using fresh, local ingredients and offer a range of vegetarian and vegan options. Some of NUDIENTs recommendations include Atelier September, Baka d’Busk, Friheden and Omar

Copenhagen is home to a range of museums and galleries that showcase art and design from both Denmark and around the world. From contemporary art at the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art to antique sculptures at the Glyptotek, there are plenty of options for art and design enthusiasts. With that said, our top recommendations for art exhibitions are Louisiana Museum of Modern Art, Copenhagen Contemporary and the Glyptotek

The options of bars in Copenhagen are endless, with everything from cozy pubs to trendy cocktail bars to choose from. You can go for the Danish brewed classics, natural wines as well as creative cocktails and spirits. During the summer months, many bars have outdoor seating which always calls for a good time. Bars such as Pompette, Apollo Bar and Bar Vivant are great for a nice night with just the right amount of Copenhagen vibes.
